Kids are back at school
The kids are back at school and I’m back at blogging!! I can’t decide which is better! Thanks to Jeramiah, we now have a new website. I’m not quite sure how it all works because I’ve been so busy. After we got back from Phoenix on August 4th, I had to work 3 days in a row, had one off and then worked 2. I did have the 5th and 6th off to get the kids situated for the first day of school. Anyway, it seems I don’t have any free time except late at night when I watch the Olympics. I have to get up at 5 am when I work and 6 am on school days that I don’t work. Since I have to work this weekend, I won’t get to sleep in at all until next weekend.
Jake and Erin are at a brand new school. The school is divided in half - the Middle School on one side and the Junior High School on the other. The playgrounds aren’t completed and there is major road construction in front of the school. They are working on a Round-About to keep traffic going slow in front of the school. I hope they are going to widen the road and install sidewalks and bike lanes because it is pretty scary right now. It seems dangerous for the kids walking and riding their bikes to school.
